B.A. threaded screws are often found on older British boats. The 2BA and M5 threads are quite similar so care must be taken when deciding what to order. An easy way to tell if your screws are countersunk or raised countersunk is the head diameter of 2BA screws is 8mm whilst the head diameter of M5 screws is 9mm.
